Meet JR, a lovable 2-year-old Jack Russell Terrier mix with maybe Chihuahua, weighing in at a sturdy 17 pounds. This little guy came to us all the way from Eastern Kentucky. JR is dog-friendly, but he prefers calmer, more respectful pups who understand the importance of his personal space. Dogs that are too wild or overly energetic might not be the best fit for him. He is great with cats!

JR is crate trained, making him an easygoing addition to any home. He enjoys his quiet time and can often be found happily chewing on bones to pass the time. His playful spirit, combined with his sturdy build, makes him an ideal companion for anyone looking for a small but confident dog who knows how to enjoy life at his own pace. The leash is completely foreign to him so we’d like him to have a fenced yard in his forever home.
