Meet Charlie, a spirited young Yorkie mix with a heart full of love. Charlie was found as a stray in Chicago, and when he was first picked up, he was understandably scared and nipped the officer who brought him to the shelter. This caused some hesitation around him, but Charlie’s true nature quickly began to shine through once he settled into his foster home.

Now, Charlie is an affectionate, playful little guy who loves to engage with his foster doggy friends. He can be a little bossy with other dogs at times, but overall, he’s friendly and social with everyone he meets. Charlie is crate trained and mostly housebroken—his neutering will help with the rest. Because of his history, he should be placed in a home with teens and up.
