Because we are all volunteers, Illinois Doberman Rescue Plus only considers approved applicants to meet our orphans in our foster homes. Meet Vegas, a 2-year-old Doberman all the way from Missouri. With his striking black and tan coat, and one ear that stands tall (the other, a little more relaxed), Vegas is just adorable. When we found out he was living outside for an extended amount of time, we knew we had to take him into our program. We’re glad he’s with us now and we are having fun getting to know him!

This powerhouse of a dog loves to patrol his yard, ensuring everything is in order, but he’s always ready to soak up some sun when the weather’s right. When it’s time to travel, Vegas is a good boy in the car — calm, composed, and ready for the next adventure. But be warned: when it comes to toys, this guy’s not about the soft stuff or throw pillows. He prefers the more rugged things in life! If you’re looking for a confident, loyal, and powerful companion with a bit of a cheeky side, Vegas is your guy.
