Stella is a beautiful 4-year-old Doberman, looking for her forever home. This sweet, cropped and docked black female weighs about 64 pounds. Despite facing some health challenges in the past, including heartworm and a growth that has since been removed, Stella is fully recovered and ready for her next adventure.

Stella is a loving and affectionate girl who enjoys snuggling up with cozy pillows and blankets, although she sometimes gets playful and chews on them. She has a kind and gentle nature, and listens well to those around her.

Stella gets along with the foster family’s older female Doberman, but she thrives in a calm environment and would do best as an only dog. If introducing her to another dog, it must be done slowly, and she will need her own space. She has never been around cats or kittens, so a cat-free home is required.

A fenced-in yard is a must, as Stella loves to run and prance around, but she’ll always stay close by. No e-collars, please. While Stella can be a bit skittish and has some separation anxiety, she is a sweet soul who will thrive with patience and understanding as she adjusts to her new home.

Stella is working on her basic commands and leash walking, though she can be a little distracted at times. She’s eager to learn and has mastered walking backwards as she keeps a close eye on her people. Don’t miss the chance to meet this lovely girl—she’ll definitely make you smile.
