Meet Ricky, a striking 2-year-old Doberman with a gorgeous blue coat and a heart full of love! Weighing in at 70 lbs, this handsome guy is full of energy and ready to bring excitement and affection into your home. Ricky has a friendly, outgoing personality and warms up quickly to new people, making him the perfect companion for anyone who loves a dog who craves attention and cuddles.

While Ricky is still putting on some weight, he’s healthy, has a hearty appetite, and is making great progress with his training. He’s already adjusting well to crate training and has had only one minor accident in the house, which shows how quickly he’s learning. He’s picking up commands like “sit” and “lay down” and with a little consistency, he’ll soon be the well-behaved buddy you’ve been looking for.

Ricky is a playful boy, especially when it comes to squirrels and other outdoor distractions! With his high prey drive, walks can be a bit of an adventure, so he’ll benefit from some dedicated leash training. However, with patience, he’ll learn to focus and walk nicely. A securely fenced yard (at least 5-6 feet high) is essential to keep him safe while he explores and plays.

Ricky would do best in a home with older kids and a similarly sized, tolerant dog. He’s looking for a family who can keep up with his energy and give him the attention and training he needs.
