Stella is a stunning 4-year-old Doberman looking for her forever home. This beautiful cropped and docked black female weighs 58 pounds and could use some extra love to help her gain a bit of weight. Despite facing some health challenges, including being heartworm positive and recovering from a silver dollar-sized growth removal, Stella is a sweet and loving companion who deserves a second chance.
Affectionate and gentle, Stella adores snuggling and loves cozy pillows and blankets—just be careful not to leave her alone with them! She is a kind soul who listens well and has a loving nature. Stella gets along with other dogs with slow introductions, but she thrives in a calm environment.
Stella is currently working on her housebreaking and would benefit from a fenced yard and supervision while outside. She experiences some separation anxiety and is a little skittish, so she’ll need extra patience as she adjusts to her new home. While she isn’t fully leash trained yet, her new family can help her learn. Playtime with toys hasn’t started yet, as she’s currently on medication to keep her calm.
The ideal home for Stella would be filled with love and attention, and a secure fenced yard is a must for her safety and comfort. She could thrive with another calm dog as a companion, but slow introductions are important. As she hasn’t been around cats, a cat-free home is preferable until we know more.
