Meet Luna, a beautiful 2-year-old black and tan female weighing 60 lbs. Luna was surrendered to IDR+ after her family had a baby, and unfortunately, she struggled to adjust, eventually being moved to the garage. Due to her nervousness around children and loud noises, Luna would thrive best in a calm, adult-only home. She is housetrained but would benefit from some fine-tuning with her leash manners. Luna would be happiest in a home with a securely fenced yard, preferably a privacy fence for added comfort. Though she’s a sweet princess at heart, Luna would flourish as the only dog in her forever home, where she can receive all the love and attention she deserves. Luna needs a patient, loving owner who will help her heal and feel secure.

Sadly, Luna is heartworm positive, so won’t be available to adopt until her treatment is complete.
