Because we are all volunteers, Illinois Doberman Rescue Plus only considers approved applicants to meet our orphans in our foster homes. The adoption fee includes vet exam, FIV/FeLV test, age-appropriate spay/neuter through IDR+ approved vet, age-appropriate vaccinations, fecal test, flea and ear mite check, and microchip. Please email cats@ildoberescue.com for more information.

Mr. Rogers came to us last October weighing less than a pound, and he was half the size of his siblings. They came just in time away from the cold weather outside! His siblings have all been adopted, and now is finally Mr. Rogers turn to find a loving family who can take care him. He has been on medical hold for the past few months because his esophagus is too narrow to swallow regular food, so the food has to be mush down with water making into porridge for easy swallowing. Because of this, he’s a pretty small kitty.  However, he has the biggest personality who just can’t get enough of your attention.  He loves to cuddle and purr up a storm, and he likes to make friends with other cats and dogs.  If you are interested adopting sweet Mr. Rogers, reach out to IDR+ today!
